Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as they outline the responsibilities and obligations associated with the damage deposit for your stay at our property. By booking and staying at our property, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
1. Damage Deposit Amount: a. A damage deposit of £500 is required for every reservation. b. The damage deposit must be paid in full 7 days before check-in via bank transfer. Failure to provide the damage deposit will result in the cancellation of your reservation.
2. Purpose of the Damage Deposit: a. The damage deposit serves as security against any damages, breakages, or loss that may occur during your stay. b. The deposit is also intended to cover any additional cleaning fees required due to excessive dirtiness or stains caused by the guest.
3. Duration of Holding the Damage Deposit: a. The damage deposit will be held from the check-in date until the check-out date. b. It will be returned within 7 days after the check-out date, provided no damage or loss has occurred and all terms and conditions have been met.
4. Damage Assessment: a. An inspection of the property will be conducted before and after your stay to assess any damages, breakages, or loss. b. Any existing damages or issues in the property should be reported to the host within 3 hours of check-in with photos via email to avoid any confusion or liability. c. The host reserves the right to deduct from the damage deposit the costs associated with repairing or replacing any damaged items, as well as any additional cleaning fees required.
5. Damages Exceeding the Deposit Amount: a. If the cost of damages, breakages, or loss exceeds the damage deposit amount, you will be responsible for covering the remaining costs. b. The host may seek legal action or involve relevant authorities to recover any additional costs exceeding the damage deposit.
6. Refund Process: a. The damage deposit refund will be made via bank transfer. b. The host will provide a breakdown of any deductions made from the damage deposit, if applicable.
7. Disputes: a. In the event of a dispute regarding the damage deposit or deductions, both parties agree to engage in good-faith negotiations to resolve the issue. b. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, both parties may seek legal recourse as permitted by applicable laws.
8. Liability: a. The host shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings incurred during your stay. b. The guest acknowledges their responsibility to take care of the property and its contents, and to adhere to all rules and regulations provided by the host.
By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions regarding the damage deposit. Failure to comply with these terms may result in the forfeiture of the damage deposit and additional charges.
